Schalke looked hopeless in their 5-1 DFB-Pokal loss to Hoffenheim on Tuesday night. It was their fifth straight competitive defeat in a stretch where they've been outscored 16 to 3.

Speaking with 'Sky', Sporting Director Rouven Schröder stated, "It's a knockout game and I didn't see that today. We cannot be satisfied with that. We cannot present ourselves in this form. I also told the team that. Everyone has to worry, I'll join in."

When asked about under-fire coach Frank Kramer, Schröder suspiciously said, "The end is open."

Kramer added that, "It was undisputedly the worst performance of the season, it couldn't have been worse. - You can't go on like this."
