RB Leipzig are close to agreeing a new deal with captain Willi Orban, according to Sky Germany.

The German media outlet reports that negotiations between the parties are in the final stages, with Orban likely to extend his contract until at least 2027.

Orban, 30, has played for RB Leipzig since 2015. His current contract with the club runs until 2025.

The experienced centre-back has made four appearances for Leipzig this season and is currently sidelined with an injury that is expected to keep him out until mid-November.
