Mats Hummels is waiting for a signal from Bayern

Mats Hummels is waiting for a talk with the Bayern bosses about his future at the club.

Mats Hummels says can imagine staying at Bayern München beyond the summer if the club bosses inform that his still part of their plans for the future.

The 30-year-old didn't play as much as he would have liked in the first half of the season, but his situation has improved in 2019.

"If it had gone on like in the first half of the season, I would have had to worry, of course. But it's looking better again now," the centre-back told Kicker and added:

"I look at the whole thing and always pay attention to what's going on and what the club are planning. If the club say that I'm fully part of their plans, everything is fine."

Bayern strengthened their defence ahead of the 2019/20 season with the signings of Benjamin Pavard (VfB Stuttgart) and Lucas Hernandez (Atlético Madrid) who will both join the club in the summer.
