Manuel Neuer talks about Germany's upcoming games and Bayern's interest in Sané
Manuel Neuer has commented on Germany's upcoming games and Bayern's München's interest in Leroy Sané.
After beating the Netherlands 3-2 in their first Euro 2020 qualifier in March, Germany have set sights on adding six more points to their tally by beating Belarus and Estonia in their upcoming games, says Manuel Neuer.
"The season isn't over. It's an honor to be able to play these games, and we want to go into the summer break with nine points," the Bayern München star told reporters at a press conference today.
Neuer was also asked to comment on Bayern München's interest in signing Leroy Sané from Manchester City.
"There are always rumors in a phase like this, but it's important for us to focus on these games. Leroy is experienced, well-advised and knows what he wants. I didn't talk to him about it," Neuer said about his teammate in the national team.
Germany lock horns with Belarus on Saturday before taking on Estonia on Tuesday next week.
