Marco Reus: I will do everything I can to get Havertz to Dortmund

Marco Reus says he will do all he can to convince Kai Havertz to come to Borussia Dortmund in the future.
Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus has previously revealed that he played a part in Julian Brandt's decision to come to Signal Iduna Park from Leverkusen.

Now, Reus wants to persuade Brandt's former Leverkusen teammate Kai Havertz to come to Dortmund as well.

"I will do everything I can to get him to Dortmund. I don't know how much he would cost or if Dortmund would be able to afford him," Reus said in an interview with Sport1.

"But I will do my best. Just like I did with Julian [Brandt]. In Julian, I have an ally who still knows him very well. So let's wait and see," the 30-year-old added.

According to reports, Havertz has been priced at around €100 million. The 20-year-old has been linked with Bayern München and clubs from abroad such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Havertz's contract with Leverkusen runs until 2022.
