Mike Frantz extends Freiburg contract
SC Freiburg have agreed a contract extension with Mike Frantz.
Mike Frantz has signed a new contract with SC Freiburg, the club have announced.
As per usual, the Bundesliga side haven't revealed the length of the new deal. According to Kicker, the Freiburg captain's previous deal was due to run out at the end of the season.
"I'm grateful for the past five years and wear the SC jersey with full conviction. I'm looking forward to continuing to push the guys to the limit week after the week," Frantz said after signing his new contract.
The 32-year-old joined Freiburg from Nürnberg in 2014 and has made 146 appearances since then, racking up 13 goals and 15 assists.
