After suffering an injury in Borussia Dortmund's DFB-Pokal exit against Wolfsburg last week, Gregor Kobel missed Saturday's 2-1 win over RB Leipzig.

And as Borussia Dortmund coach Nuri Sahin revealed ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Sturm Graz, the goalkeeper hasn't yet been given the all-clear to return to action, with Alexander Meyer set to deputize once again.

According to Bild, Kobel's muscle injury has led to a haemorrhage and Dortmund's doctors are taking no chances as they want to avoid the goalkeeper suffering a more serious injury, such as a torn muscle fibre or even a torn muscle bundle.

However, if all goes to plan, the Swiss goalkeeper will be back between the sticks against Mainz on Saturday.
