With Andrej Kramaric's contract set to expire at the end of the season, TSG Hoffenheim are determined to extend it.

The club's new managing director for sport, Andreas Schicker, has confirmed that talks are ongoing with the 33-year-old.

"We are in talks and we will see if we can extend the contract as soon as possible," Schicker told Sky Germany.

Hoffenheim reportedly have a clause that could be used to extend the deal by a further year, but it is understood that negotiations are underway for a completely new deal.

The 33-year-old has racked up 137 goals and 58 assists in 296 appearances for Hoffenheim across all competitions.
