Oliver Glasner relieved and delighted after Wolfsburg go through to the knockout stages

"The overwhelming feeling is one of relief and delight," Wolfsburg coach Oliver Glasner said after his team's 1-0 win over Oleksandria on Thursday.

Wolfsburg coach Oliver Glasner was filed wtih 'relief and delight' after his team beat FC Oleksandria 1-0 on Thursday to secure a place in the knockout stages of the Europa League.

"The overwhelming feeling is one of relief and delight that we've achieved our objective of reaching the knockout rounds of the Europa League – and with one game to spare, no less. Great credit to the team, who came through a difficult game," Glasner said after the game, as quoted by the club.

"The hosts showed exactly what I expected: they were aggressive, hard-working and didn't give up. It says something about us that we're the only team who have managed to win here in the group stage. Therefore I'm very happy that we’ve succeeded," he continued.

Wolfsburg face Werder Bremen at home in their next game on Sunday.
