Wolfsburg boss expects Oliver Glasner to stay as coach despite speculation

Oliver Glasner's future at Wolfsburg has been thrown into doubt in recent weeks. The club's sporting managing director, Jörg Schmadtke, however, expects him to stay.

Wolfsburg sporting managing director Jörg Schmadtke says he expects Oliver Glasner to stay on as head coach beyond the summer.
Glasner's future has been called into question recently after reports emerged that his contract includes a release clause.
"Of course, I assume that we will go into next season with Oliver," Schmadtke told Kicker.
Wolfsburg sit third in the Bundesliga table. Glasner's contract expires in 2022.
