Arsenal loanee Kostas Mavropanos says he would be open to spending another season at VfB Stuttgart.
The 23-year-old, whose current loan deal expires in the summer, told Stuttgarter Nachrichten:
"My deal with VfB ends in the summer, and then I will be returning to Arsenal at first. But I can imagine spending another year here, because I feel comfortable at VfB and the Bundesliga is very challenging."
Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat is hoping the loan deal will be extended beyond the summer.
"We are super happy that he has been a regular starter in recent weeks. We would like to keep him on loan for another season if possible, but that depends on Arsenal," said the former Arsenal head of scouting.
Mavropanos is under contract with Arsenal until 2023.
