After reports emerged on Monday, August 11, that Serhou Guirassy was offered to various top clubs, the striker himself has responded to the rumours.

“First of all, there's always a lot of talk about a move to Saudi Arabia, but none of it has reached me,” Guirassy explained, speaking to Sky Germany.

“I'm constantly asked questions about it [the rumours], but I've never heard of it myself. I don't care about these topics at all.

"If someone calls me about it, my brother and my agent will deal with it. It's not my business, so I can't say for sure whether there was interest.

"Of course, that's [a departure] possible, but I'm definitely here at BVB and want to win titles here," the Dortmund marksman added.

According to Sky, however, a move for the 29-year-old this summer is “not out of the question.”

At least not if an interested club approaches the Ruhrpott giants with a mega-offer of around €80 to €100million.
