VfL Bochum have officially announced the signing of Sean Klaiber on a free transfer who arrives from Brøndby IF.
Klaiber made a total of 78 appearances for the eleven-time Danish champions, contributing four goals and eight assists.
The Dutchman broke out at FC Utrecht, and also represented both FC Dordrecht and Ajax Amsterdam in the Eredivise.
“Due to the serious injury of Jean Manuel Mbom, who also covered the right-back position, we needed to make a move there.
"Sean Klaiber brings a wealth of experience and can play both right and left back. His aggressive and physically robust style of play fits our style very well.
"We are convinced he will help us immediately which makes him a good and valuable addition to our squad," said VfL director of football, Simon Zoller.
