Since Mathys Tel doesn’t look to have a future at Bayern Munich, the Bavarians are on the lookout for Harry Kane’s replacement. Former Köln player Tolu Arokodare is among those linked with the club.

"When the opportunity arises, I have to make sure I'm ready,” said the Genk striker in an interview with 'Het Laatste Nieuws'. “You never know how often a train like that will pass by, so I don't want to miss any opportunities.

"Could I be Harry Kane's replacement? Yes. That would be nice, wouldn't it? But those are just rumors; I haven't had any contact."

Arokodare leads the scoring charts in the Belgian Pro League with 20 goals. His club demand a €25 million transfer fee with the player having a contract until 2027.

The Nigerian international failed to score in 11 appearances as a loan player in Köln. "It wasn't a good experience. But things are different for Bayern and Dortmund, aren't they?" said Arokodare about his past Bundesliga experience.
