Atletico Madrid are reportedly looking to sign RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo.
Bild go as far as to claim that the La Liga side have emerged as the favorites to sign the 26-year-old, with the report claiming that initial talks have taken place.
The Spain international has a release clause of €60 million, which must be exercised by July 20.
Previously, Olmo has been linked with Manchester City and Bayern Munich, but neither side appear to have made a genuine move for the Spaniard.
The 25-year-old commented on the clause in an interview with El Larguero during Euro 2024, telling interested clubs:
“My clause of €60 million, which runs until July 20? They know what they have to do. If not, they will have to fight a little.”
Olmo has played for Leipzig since January 2020, when he joined the club from Dinamo Zagreb.
According to reports, the Croatian side secured a 20 percent sell-on clause when they sold him.
