Robert Andrich has promised he and his Bayer Leverkusen teammates won’t give Bayern Munich a moment’s breath as the business end of the season nears.

Despite being unable to close the gap to the Bararians after a 0-0 draw back in Matchday 22, the clubs will reacquaint themselves in the Champions League last-16 next week.

“It is very unrealistic that we will catch up [in the Bundesliga], but we want to keep putting pressure on Bayern from behind.

“Everything is still possible in all competitions. We want to annoy Bayern until the end.

“We have played against Bayern several times this season. There was always a lot of fire in it [the games] from the start.

“I think there will be even more fire in it before this game,” said Andrich, alluding to the Round of 16 tie that awaits.

Leverkusen travel to the Allianz Arena for the first-leg on Wednesday, March 5th before hosting the Bavarian giants in the second-leg the following Tuesday, March 11th.
