Following the news that Bayern Munich have withdrawn their contract offer to Joshua Kimmich, Sky Germany is now reporting that Arsenal are one of the main suitors for the 30-year-old Germany captain.

The Gunners have reportedly held talks over the possibility of bringing Kimmich to England on a free transfer this summer when his contract expires, with the midfielder seen as a possible replacement for Jorginho.

According to the report, Kimmich has two written contract offers from abroad, one of which is from the Premier League, and that's the main reason why he's hesitating to sign a new contract with Bayern.

Kimmich is understood to have informed Bayern of the offers. A contract extension is still possible, but only on the same or worse terms than the German giants last offered.

According to Sky, Bayern offered Kimmich a contract until at least 2028 with a salary of €20-22 million per year before withdrawing the offer as they grew tired of waiting for his decision.
