Upamecano to be rested against Stuttgart?
Eric Dier and Kim Minjae could pair up again at the heart of Bayern's defence against Stuttgart, with Dayot Upamecano still not 100 percent fit.
Eric Dier and Kim Minjae partnered up at the back for Bayern Munich's 4-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt last week, while Dayot Upamecano missed out with a back problem.
And according to TZ, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany is considering starting Dier and Kim together once more against Stuttgart on Friday night, with Upamecano still not fully fit.
With Bayern facing Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday in the first of two Champions League last-16 ties, they probably won't want to take too much of a risk with the French centre-back.
Another option at centre-back is Hiroki Ito, who has started the last two Bundesliga games at left-back.
