Phil Foden could be set to link up with compatriot Harry Hane at Bayern Munich this summer, according to rumours.

After a dreadful and injury-ridden first half of the season by their lofty  standards, Manchester City splashed €200million in the latest winter transfer window.

With one eye on a rebuild, Spanish media outlet El Nacional believe that Pep Guardiola has outlined a plan to sell a quartet of players – including Phil Foden.

Along with the 24-year-old, ex-Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, and former Bremen and Wolfsburg man Kevin De Bruyne join Bernardo Silva on the potential departure list.

It is believed that Bayern Munich are keeping a close eye on Foden which the Citizens will be open to selling in the event a “lavish offer arrives”.

It is rumoured that Foden could leave for a fee of around €150million – an eye-watering sum that one imagines Bayern wouldn’t be willing to pay. Real Madrid are also in the hunt.
