Bayern loan Irankunda out to Grasshopper Zürich

FC Bayern München confirmed a loan-out for Australian international Nestory Irankunda on Saturday afternoon.

FC Bayern München have aceeded to the transfer request of 18-year-old Aussie attacker Nestory Irankunda. The teenage talent will receive a chance to gain more match practice in Switzerland with Grasshopper Zürich. A six-month loan-out has been arranged. 

Irankunda made 15 appearances for the FCB reserves in the German fourth division this year, scoring four goals and registering four assists. The youngster has already earned five caps for country in the senior Aussie side. 

“Nestory has integrated very well after moving from Australia to Europe,” FC Bayern campus director Jochen Sauer noted in a club statement. "We are convinced that he will take the next sporting steps in the Swiss top flight in Zurich. We will continue to support him."
