Bayern under pressure to sell players to continue squad rebuild

Bayern Munich are under pressure to sell players if they want to bring in more reinforcements this summer.

With Hiroki Ito and Michael Olise, Bayern Munich have already made two signings for the new season, and a third is expected to follow soon, with Fulham's Joao Palhinha said to have undergone a medical with the Bavarians.

The Bavarians have also been linked with a number of targets, including Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah, but they will need to thin out their current squad before they can continue their activity on the recruitment front.

According to Kicker, it's "imperative" that Bayern start signing players now, with Kingsley Coman, Matthijs de Ligt and Alphonso Davies seemingly the most likely to be offloaded.

However, a major problem for the Bavarians in this regard is that some of the players who could leave have "clearly registered" that information about possible departures is "indiscreetly treated in public", with "hardly any discussion" having taken place with the players concerned.

Bayern have had problems with information leaking for some time now, and have yet to find out how it keeps happening.
