Defenders

Anthony Caci, Mainz

Marvin Friedrich, Gladbach

A rock-solid performance from the Gladbach centre-back, who won 100 percent of his duels and made a last-man tackle to help his side to a 0-0 draw.

Jeffrey Gouweleeuw, Augsburg

Won five duels, made 10 clearances and completed 82 percent of his passes as Augsburg kept a clean sheet against Hoffenheim.

Antonio Nusa, RB Leipzig

Playing as a left wing-back, he didn't get everything right, but he did pose plenty of threat, making eight crosses, completing three dribbles and making three key passes. He also won six of his 11 challenges.

Midfielders

Nadiem Amiri, Mainz

Another dominant performance from the Mainz midfield boss, who recorded 0.32 xG and 0.80 xA and made five key passes.

Angelo Stiller, Stuttgart

Safe on the ball as always, Stiller made an assist and five key passes. He also won all his ground duels.

Florian Wirtz, Bayer Leverkusen

Leverkusen were held to another disappointing draw despite a strong performance from Wirtz in attacking midfield. The youngster provided an assist, completed 86 percent of his passes and made seven out of 10 succesful dribble attempts. He also won 11 of his 16 challenges on the ground.

Jamal Musiala, Bayern Munich

Showed up when Bayern needed him to score a wonder goal against St. Pauli.

Strikers

Omar Marmoush, Eintracht Frankfurt

Just keeps on going this season. This time he provided an assist and scored a superb free-kick to lead Frankfurt to a 3-2 win over Stuttgart.
