22-year-old Nigerian striker Gift Orban has been officially confimed as a TSG Hoffenheim player.

The Bundesliga outfit announced the capture of Orban on a long-term deal from Olympique Lyon on Thursday evening.

"With Gift Orban, we have found exactly the kind of pacey striker we were looking for," said Hoffenheim managing director for sport Andreas Schicker.

“Gift has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to score goals and his love for the game at his previous clubs, so we are convinced that his skills will give our team more versatility in attack.”

Hoffenheim have paid a reported 9 million to bring Orban to Germany.
