VfB Stuttgart midfielder Atakan Karazor is reportedly set to be called up for the Turkish national team.
According to Sky Germany, the 27-year-old is expected to be included in Turkey's squad for matches against Montenegro and Iceland later this month.
Born in Essen, Karazor is also eligible to play for Germany. However, he has yet to be called up for the German national team.
The defensive midfielder played a key role in Stuttgart's impressive second-place finish in the Bundesliga last season.
He was named captain in the summer and has started every game for the Swabians this season.
