Sky Germany claims that Manchester United have made an enquiry about Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah.
Tah has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but the Bavarians appear keen to sell Matthijs de Ligt before taking the next step in their bid to sign the 28-year-old, who is said to be keen on a move to the Allianz Arena.
Curiously, Bayern are in negotiations with Manchester United for de Ligt, who is said to have already agreed personal terms with the English club, with a fee in the region of €50 million on the table.
As Tah is around €10 million cheaper in terms of transfer fee and has lower salary demands, it's possible that Manchester United could turn their attention to him.
Tah has just one year left on his contract with Bayer Leverkusen.
Bayern have already made three signings this summer in Michael Olise, Joao Palhinha and Hiroki Ito.
