Report: Gosens faces long spell on the sidelines with injury
Robin Gosens is set to miss Germany's upcoming games due to a thigh injury that is expected keep him out for a while.
Atalanta and Germany wing-back Robin Gosens faces a long spell on the sidelines, according to La Gazetta dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper claims that the 27-year-old will be out for around two months after sustaining a thigh injury in Atalanta's 1-0 win over Young Boys in the Champions League earlier this week.
He will therefore be unavailable for Germany's World Cup qualifiers against Romania and North Macedonia this month.
Gosens has made a total of 13 appearances for 'Die Mannschaft' with two goals and four assists to his name.
