Armin Veh is seen as a possible successor for Stefan Reuter at Augsburg, according to Kicker.

Reuter's job as Augsburg managing director for sport is said to be hanging by a thread after a poor start to the season, with Kicker claiming that he has a strained relationship with the team as well as club president Klaus Hofmann.

Veh, who has been without a job since he left the position as FC Köln managing director for sport in 2019, was first linked with the position back in May.

He represented Augsburg as an active player and served as coach for the club back in the 90's.

Augsburg sit 16th in the Bundesliga table.
