Oliver Glasner: "I would have liked the start to be a little easier"

Oliver Glasner has opened up on his difficult start to life as Eintracht Frankfurt coach.
Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner has conceded he has not been satisfied with first months at Deutsche Park Bank.

'Die Adler' currently sit 14th in the Bundesliga, having taken just 12 points from their first 11 Bundesliga games under Glasner, who left Wolfsburg to take the reins at Frankfurt ahead of this season.

"I would have liked the start to be a little easier," Glasner admitted in an interview with Frankurt Rundschau.

"Now, after four months, when you know a lot more and can form your own picture, I can understand a few things that I didn't have on my radar before.

"The fact is, we can't be satisfied with our attacking play," added Glasner, admitting that it has been particularly difficult to cope with the loss of André Silva, who left Frankfurt for RB Leipzig after scoring 29 Bundesliga goals last season.

Frankfurt face Freiburg away from home this afternoon.
