Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus felt vital decisions went against his team as they fell to a 2-3 defeat at home against Bayern München tonight.

While the score was 2-2 in the second half, Dortmund called for a penalty after a challenge from Lucas Hernandez saw Reus go down in the box, but their appeals were waved away by referee Felix Zwayer.

Much to the frustration of the home side, Zwayer wasn't even called over by VAR to see the incident again.

After seeing the replay, Reus was asked if he felt it was a penalty.

"Oh my God. Oh yes," he told Sky.

"I didn't think it was that clear during the game, but seeing it now, he definitely has to look at it again."

To make things worse for Dortmund, Bayern ended up winning the game after a controversial penalty call as Mats Hummels was adjudged to have handled the ball after a VAR review.

"I think it's harsh, I must say," said Reus after taking a look at the incident.

"Mats really tries to go for the ball with his head, and of course he needs his body to do that."
