RB Leipzig have been boosted by the news that Christopher Nkunku has tested out of quarantine.

The French midfielder has been self-isolating in France after testing positive for COVID-19 during his Christmas break, but he is now on his way back to Leipzig.

Nkunku is expected to be back in training tomorrow and could make the squad for Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Mainz.

The 24-year-old has been a key player for Leipzig this season, racking up 15 goals and 10 assists in 25 appearances.
