Report: Union agree deal to sign Paderborn striker as Kruse replacement

Union Berlin have found their successor for Max Kruse, with Sky Germany reporting that Paderborn forward Sven Michel will have his medical at the German capital club today.
FC Union Berlin have agreed a deal to sign Sven Michel from Paderborn, according to Sky Germany.

It was reported yesterday that Union had targeted Michel as a replacement for Max Kruse, who has joined Wolfsburg.

And Sky Germany claims this morning that a medical has been scheduled for 11 AM, with all parties parties in agreement on a transfer.

Per the report, Paderborn will receive around €1.5-2 million for the experienced forward.

Michel, 31, has scored 15 goals in 20 games for Paderborn this season.
