VfB Stuttgart coach Pellegrino Matarazzo was "dissatisfied and unhappy" as his side lost to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, extending their winless streak to six Bundesliga games.

17th-placed Stuttgart came back twice, but ultimately fell to a 2-3 defeat at the hands of 'Die Adler'.

"We made far too many simple mistakes," Matarazzo self-critically admitted in a post-match interview.

"We looked uncomfortable after set pieces. I'm very dissatisfied and unhappy with the game and the result - but we move on."

Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner, on the other hand, was naturally delighted with the result.

"We are insanely happy about the first three points in 2022. I can only pay the team a big compliment for their commitment and will. The win is very good for all of us," he said.
