Fantasy Bundesliga: Template team and potential transfers for Matchday 22

Matchday 21 was another good one for the team as player picks like Müller and Lindstrøm brought in the points. Now, moving into Matchday 22, the plan is to be aggressive with transfers, hence I have not prioritized a goalkeeper transfer even though Riemann is out with Covid.
In this article, we take a look at our selected template team as well as the players we can target to bring in this matchday, using our 3 transfers.

In this regard, the word 'template' refers to players who are highly owned, regularly scoring good fantasy points and being main players for their teams.

Below, you'll find the template team from last week and the latest Fantasy score of each player.

Goalkeepers:
Mark Flekken, Freiburg (7.8M), 3 points
Manuel Riemann, Bochum (5.8M), 4 points

Defenders:
Benjamin Pavard, Bayern (12.5M), 7 points
Aarón Martín, Mainz (3.7M), 11 points
Jeremie Frimpong, Leverkusen (8M), 8 points
Danilo Soares, Bochum (7.1M), 9 points
Cedric Brunner, Bielefeld (5.5M), 10 points

Midfielders:
Patrick Wimmer, Bielefeld (6.2M), 14 points
Jesper Lindstrøm, Frankfurt (9M), 12 points
Vincenzo Grifo, Freiburg (15.3M), 8 points
Christopher Nkunku, RB Leipzig (17.9M), 12 points
Florian Wirtz, Leverkusen (14.4M), 10 points

Strikers:
Robert Lewandowski, Bayern (22.5M), 13 points
Thomas Müller, Bayern (20.1M), 12 points
Patrik Schick, Leverkusen (16.4M), 6 points

TRANSFER 1:
Danilo Soares OUT, Angelino IN

Playing as a left wing-back for Leipzig, Angelino has a stand-alone fixture against Koln on Friday evening. Though he is much more expensive than the other Leipzig defenders and his recent form has not been great, his performance against Bayern caught the eye. He was more advanced and even made runs into the box. With Köln conceding majority of their chances along the left, Angelino could have a good impact.

TRANSFER 2:
Patrick Wimmer OUT, Jonas Hofmann IN

Hoffman got a massive haul of 17 points on matchday 21 with only 1 assist to his name. However, he was involved in all of Gladbach’s attacking play. Though I still believe Gladbach are going to struggle in most matches, Hofmann's overall involvement in their play makes him a top player to own for their match against leaky Augsburg.

TRANSFER 3:
Cedric Brunner OUT, Christopher Trimmel IN

Trimmel playing as the right wing-back for Union Berlin looked good in their last match against Augsburg. Though Union conceded, he provided passes to shots and was on set pieces. A game against a lackluster Dortmund team without Haaland looks good for Trimmel to get a clean sheet as well as an attacking return.
