Rose explains decision to leave Hazard out of his squad
Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose has explained why Thorgan Hazard wasn't part of his squad for today's clash with Union Berlin.
Thorgan Hazard wasn't part of the Borussia Dortmund squad that beat Union Berlin 3-0 in the Bundesliga today.
Speaking after the game, Dortmund coach Marco Rose clarified that the Belgian international wasn't left out for injury reasons.
"I decided yesterday with the coaching team which squad we would take the game. We decided on the guys, who made the best impression in training," Rose told reporters.
"He wasn't injured," he added.
Hazard started and was taken off after 61 minutes of Dortmund's 2-5 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen last week.
