RB Leipzig accept role of favorites ahead of DFB-Pokal quarterfinal
Domenico Tedesco has acknowledged that RB Leipzig are favorites to win the DFB-Pokal this season.
With the likes of Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen already out of the DFB-Pokal, the bookmakers see RB Leipzig as favorites to win the German cup for the first time.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of Wednesday's quarterfinal clash with 2. Bundesliga outfit Hannover 96, RB Leipzig coach Domenico Tedesco recognized that his side have a good chance of going all the way this season.
"We'll accept the role of favorites ahead of the game and in this competition," Tedesco told reporters.
"We want to win all of our games and that's how we're approaching this one. But it won't be easy against a side with players with Bundesliga experience."
