Bundesliga team of the week – Matchday 10

Timo Werner leads the line in our team of the week after his brace against Hertha BSC.
Matchday 10 – team of the week (4-1-3-2):

Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki, Dortmund (3)
Didn't have a lot to do, but was a safe presence throughout the game against Wolfsburg. Did well when he was needed and helped his side to earn a vital clean sheet.

Right-back: Jonathan Schmid, Augsburg
Grabbed an assist and scored a wonderful free kick goal in the 2-2 draw with FC Nürnberg.

Centre-back: David Abraham, Eintracht Frankfurt (2)
Stuttgart barely created any chances against a very well-organized Frankfurt defence orchestrated by David Abraham.

Centre-back: Manuel Gulde, Freiburg
Kept Robert Lewandowski relatively quiet in the 1-1 draw with Bayern München. Calmly organized the Freiburg defence and did well to bring the ball forward.

Left-back: Christian Günter, Freiburg (2)
Very solid defensively and set up Lucas Höler's equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Bayern München with a great cross.

Central midfielder: Florian Neuhaus, Gladbach (3)
The 21-year-old has been a revelation for Gladbach this season. Pulled the strings in midfield and set up Jonas Hofmann with his sixth Bundesliga assist of the season.

Right midfielder: Thorgan Hazard, Gladbach (2)
As usual, he was very involved offensively in Gladbach's 3-0 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf in which he netted twice.

Offensive midfielder: Vincenzo Grifo, Hoffenheim
Was given the chance in the starting eleven and certainly didn't disappoint in the 4-1 win over Leverkusen. Scored from the penalty spot and made two assists.

Left midfielder: Serge Gnabry, Bayern München
Wasn't afraid to try something on his own in the 1-1 draw with Freiburg. Didn't succeed with all his actions, but was very energetic and also scored Bayern's only goal after a great run.

Striker: Joelinton, Hoffenheim
Very effective and decisive in the 4-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen in which he scored twice and won a penalty.

Striker: Timo Werner, RB Leipzig (3)
A constant threat in the 3-0 win over Hertha BSC. Scored a brace and could have netted even more goals.
