SC Freiburg v Bayern Munich preview: Can Streich mastermind a victory over Bayern?
Freiburg will face a tough test on Saturday, when they play host to a Bayern Munich side who are closing in on the league title.

With just seven matches left to play, Freiburg are still firmly in the hunt for a Champions League place, with RB Leipzig's superior goal difference the only reason Christian Streich's men sit just outside the top four.
Although, Freiburg would have been frustrated with their most recent performance after they were held to a goalless draw by struggling Greuther Fürth. The draw did still extend Freiburg's unbeaten run to six matches, with Streich's side entering the final stages of the season in a rich vein of form.
With three wins from their last five matches, Freiburg will be hopeful that they can obtain a positive result on Saturday. The Breisgau-Brasilianer can also take confidence from the fact that in the home meeting last season they held Bayern to a 2-2 draw.
Despite facing tough opposition, Streich will be fully aware that a poor result on Saturday could result in them losing ground to the sides currently in the top four.

Kevin Schade is set to miss out due to an abdominal issue, while Yannik Keitel will also be absent due to injury.

The defending champions are closing in on a tenth consecutive Bundesliga title after Dortmund slipped up in their last outing. With their title rivals dropping points against FC Köln, Bayern enter the weekend's contest with a six-point lead at the top of the table.
Bayern had no such problems in their last appearance as they swept aside Union Berlin with consummate ease thanks to goals from Kingsley Coman, Tanguy Nianzou and a Robert Lewandowski brace.
With seven matches left to play, Bayern will be eyeing up 100 league goals for the season, while Julian Nagelsmann's side also possesses the best defence in the Bundesliga.
Although after dropping points in two of their last three away matches, the defending champions will be wary of Saturday’s opposition, especially with Christian Streich’s side homing in on a Champions League place.
The Bavarians can extend their unbeaten run to eight matches in all competitions with a positive result on Saturday, as they look to secure another Bundesliga title.

Alphonso Davies is closing in on a return, but is not expected to feature against Freiburg. Eric Choupo-Moting will also miss out, while there are doubts over the fitness of Robert Lewandowski, Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich.
