Kalajdzic rues missed chances after Stuttgart's draw with Mainz

Sasa Kalajdzic felt Stuttgart could have earned more than a point again Mainz.
VfB Stuttgart forward Sasa Kalajdzic bemoaned his side's lack of ruthlessness in front of goal following Saturday's 0-0 Bundesliga draw with Mainz.

"We could have got more from this game," said Kalajdzic in a post-match interview.

"We were better in the first half but we should have finished off our chances better. Overall we can be satisfied with the point, though."

Kalajdzic's teammate Waldemar Anton spoke in the same vein, stating:

"It's not enough. In terms of our fighting spirit and overall play we did well, but we still need to be more clinical and focused.

"We'll take the point. Mainz are very good at home, as they've demonstrated in the last few weeks. At the end of the day the draw was fair."

Stuttgart sit 16th, two points above Arminia Bielefeld, who face Bayern München tomorrow.
