André Hahn has revealed that his contract with Augsburg has been automatically extended by a further year, meaning it now runs until 2023.

"I had a clause in my contract that said the contract would be extended for another year if I played a certain number of games within the four years," he told Augsburger Allgemeine.

"It was triggered when I played against Bochum last week, and I'm happy to be able to play another year here at FCA."

Hahn, 31, has featured a total of 160 times for Augsburg, racking up 34 goals and 29 assists.
