Having previously been linked with Barcelona, Angelo Stiller has apparently attracted the interest of Real Madrid.

That's according to Spanish publication Fichajes, who reports that the capital club see the Stuttgart midfielder as a possible replacement for Luka Modric.

Stiller has a similar style of play to 39-year-old Modric, who is out of contract at Madrid at the end of the season.

Towards the end of January, Stiller extended his contract with Stuttgart until 2028.

According to reports, his new deal includes a release clause that would allow him to leave the club in 2026 for €36.5 million.

However, reports have also suggested that Stuttgart could buy out the clause by paying the central midfielder €2 million.
