Sky Germany reports that Lucien Favre is seen as one of the top candidates to succeed Adi Hütter as Gladbach coach.

Hütter announced today that he will be leaving 'Die Fohlen' after a disappointing 2021/22 campaign.

Favre, who served as Gladbch coach between 2011 and 2015, was reportedly first contacted by the club a few weeks ago, and the talks have been intensified in recent days.

The 64-year-old coaching veteran last worked for Borussia Dortmund, who sacked him in December 2020 after a string of poor results.
