FC Augsburg are in the market for more offensive help as it's reported they have made an offer to 25-year-old attacker Iñigo Córdoba. The Spaniard last played for Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles, where he was on loan from Athletic. Córdoba put up decent numbers with 12 goals and 2 assists in all competitions for the Dutch side last year.

Córdoba is coming off a much-improved season and can be brought in free of charge with his recently expired contract. The left-footed winger scored more goals in 2021/22 than in his entire career. Die Fuggerstädter most recently acquired striker Ermedin Demirović from SC Freiburg in a swap deal for Michael Gregoritsch.

Augsburg are looking to improve on last season's 14th place finish with new coach Enrico Maaßen at the helm.
