Burnley FC are said to be working on a deal to sign Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Jordan Beyer.

According to Sky Germany and Sport1, Beyer could join the English club on a one-year loan deal before the transfer window closes tonight.

Per Sport1, Beyer is already in England to undergo his medical ahead of the transfer.

Beyer was absent from Gladbach training this morning because of ongoing negotiations about his future.

The 22-year-old central defender is yet to make an appearance under new 'Fohlen' coach Daniel Farke.
