Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 8

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 8.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Alphonso Davies, Christopher Nkunku and Sadio Mané.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 8.

Ozan Kabak, Hoffenheim (Defender, 7.9M, 13%)
Kabak has quietly been one of the best value-for-money defenders in the game so far with 60 points to his name (9 per game on average) so far. What makes him particularly appealing is that Hoffenheim have a favorable run of fixtures and three stand-alone games coming up.

Iago, Augsburg (Defender, 8M, 1%)
Augsburg signed off for the international break in style with 1-0 wins over Werder Bremen and Bayern München, and Iago was one of their stand-out performers in those two games, scoring 12 points against Werder and 16 points against Bayern. With 'Die Fuggerstädter' facing Schalke 04, Wolfsburg and FC Köln in their next three games, it might be worth bringing in a player or two from Enrico Maaßen's in-form side.

Borna Sosa, Stuttgart (Defender, 12M, 2%)
Stuttgart lost 1-3 to Eintracht Frankfurt in their last game before the international break, but that didn't stop Borna Sosa from having a great game Fantasy wise. The Croatian left-back finally put his high ceiling on display as he finished the game with a whopping 17 points to his name despite conceding three goals and losing the game. Stuttgart's upcoming three fixtures – Wolfsburg (A), Union Berlin (H), Bochum (H) – don't look too bad, so Sosa is certainly an option worth considering. Update:Bild is reporting that Sosa will miss the Wolfsburg game.

David Raum, RB Leipzig (Defender, 12.6M, 10%)
Raum is yet to show his full potential at Leipzig, although he has had a few good games. This weekend's home clash with bottom-placed Bochum certainly represents a good opportunity to do well for the attacking full-back.

Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, Freiburg (Midfielder, 4.8M, 0%)
With Roland Sallai sidelined, Kyereh started Freiburg's last two games before the international break at the attacking midfield position ahead of Woo-yeong Jeong, and he's being tipped to keep his starting place against Mainz this week. Available at just 4.8 million, he offers a cheap route into Freiburg's midfield.

Lars Stindl, Gladbach (Midfielder, 10.1M, 1%)
Scoring 18 points against RB Leipzig on Matchday 7, the Gladbach captain certainly looked back in form after his recovery from injury. With an ownership percentage of just 1, he's a great differential option.

Christoph Baumgartner, Hoffenheim (Midfielder, 12.1M, 6%)
As mentioned, Hoffenheim have an appealing run of fixtures, and their players provide great flexibility in the weeks to come with three stand-alone fixtures coming up. Baumgartner is one of Hoffenheim's most intriguing Fantasy assets, having picked up 53 points so far this season.

Jonas Hofmann, Gladbach (Midfielder, 15M, 12%)
After a few disappointing performances, the German international was back to his best against RB Leipzig, amassing a whopping 28 points. This shows just how big a difference-maker he can be and that you certainly don't want to miss out on Hofmann when he's having a good game.

Mergim Berisha, Augsburg (Striker, 8.5M, 0%)
The Fenerbahce loanee has had a quite strong start to his Augsburg stint, racking up a goal and an assist in his first three games. In light of Augsburg's favorable run of fixtures, Berisha could be good differential in the weeks to come.

Timo Werner, RB Leipzig (Striker, 14.2M, 7%)
Werner is yet to display the form that made him one of the Bundesliga's biggest stars before his move to England, with the striker himself even admitting that his return hasn't gone according to plan so far. Nevertheless, the 26-year-old should be a player to target this week, with Leipzig welcoming crisis-hit Bochum to the Red Bull Arena.
