Report: Nkunku has undergone Chelsea medical
Per Bild, Christopher Nkunku has gone through a medical ahead of a possible future move to Chelsea.
Despite huge speculation about Christopher Nkunku's future, RB Leipzig managed to hold on to their prized asset beyond the summer, tying the Frenchman down to a new deal until 2026. However, he's unlikely to fulfill his contract.
According to Bild, it can be assumed that Nkunku will leave Leipzig in the summer of 2023, with Chelsea leading the race for his signature.
In fact, the French international has already gone through a medical with Chelsea at a hospital in Frankfurt, per the German tabloid.
This doesn't mean that a deal to join Chelsea is in place, but the London club look like a realistic next destination for Nkunku, who has a €60 million release clause in his contract, according to Bild.
