Fantasy Bundesliga tips:
10 players to consider for Matchday 9

By Rune Gjerulff   @runegjerulff

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 9.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Alphonso Davies, Christopher Nkunku and Sadio Mané.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 9.

Janis Blaswich, RB Leipzig (Goalkeeper, 3.5M, 1%)
With Peter Gulacsi ruled out long term with an anterior cruciate ligament tear, Janis Blaswich will be in goal for Leipzig for a while.

Paulo Otavio, Wolfsburg (Defender, 7.3M, 1%)
The Brazilian left-back put his high ceiling on display last week with a 15-point haul against Stuttgart, meaning he has now scored double figures in 50% of his games so far this season.

Pavel Kaderabek, Hoffenheim (Defender, 8.5M, 1%)
Hoffenheim coach André Breitenreiter is spoiled for choice when it comes to the two wing-back spots, with Pavel Kaderabek, Robert Skov and Angelino competing to start. Owned by just 1%, Kaderabek could be a very good differential to have if he is in the starting eleven tonight.

Jeremie Frimpong, Leverkusen (Defender, 11.3M, 9%)
Bayer Leverkusen are in shambles at the moment, but the appointment of Xabi Alonso as new head coach might give them a boost. Their match-up against Schalke at home certainly looks good on paper, and Frimpong can be a real difference-maker as he showed on Matchday 4, when he bagged a brace and amassed 24 points.

Linton Maina, FC Köln (Midfielder, 4.2M, 0%)
A midfielder in the game, Maina started up front against Borussia Dortmund last week, notching up an assist and nine points in his side's 3-2 win. The former Hannover 96 attacker is expected to play up top once more against a Gladbach side, who conceded five goals against Werder last week.

Lars Stindl, Gladbach (Midfielder, 10.3M, 3%)
While most of Gladbach's Fantasy assets disappointed last week, Lars Stindl actually did quite well, especially considering his side's heavy loss, as he picked up 10 points. The Gladbach skipper is cheaper than Die Fohlen's other attacking players and has an ownership of just 3%.

Christoph Baumgartner, Hoffenheim (Midfielder, 12.2M, 7%)
Although Baumgartner didn't do as well last week as many Fantasy Bundesliga managers were probably hoping for, he remains a very intriguing option, with Hoffenheim set to play two Friday night games in a row against Werder Bremen and Schalke 04, respectively.

Nils Petersen, Freiburg (Striker, 4.9M, 0%)
Petersen could make a rare start against Hertha after Michael Gregoritsch picked up a knock in last night's 2-0 Europa League win over Nantes.

Jordan, Union Berlin (Striker, 8.2M, 8%)
Jordan offers a great alternative to his more popular striking colleague Sheraldo Becker. The U.S. international costs 2.7 million less, is on penalties for Union and has just eight points less to his name after outscoring Becker in the last two games.

Patrik Schick, Leverkusen (Striker, 15.9M, 6%)
Schick is key if Leverkusen are to hit the ground running under new coach Xabi Alonso, and he's likely to have a good game against a Schalke side with the league's second worst defence, who will be without key defender Sepp van den Berg.
