Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 10

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 10.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Alphonso Davies, Christopher Nkunku and Sadio Mané.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 10.

Benno Schmitz, FC Köln (Defender, 8.2M, 1%)
FC Köln welcome Augsburg to the RheinEnergieStadion as big favorites, with 'Die Függerstädter' having to manage without their preferred centre-back duo of Daniel Bauer and Jeffrey Gouweleeuw due to suspension. Schmitz performed quite well Fantasy wise last season, picking up a total of 167 points over the 2021/22 campaign. Although he has been unable to live up to the standards he set last season so far, he's worth considering as a cheaper and less popular alternative to Köln captain Jonas Hector.

Borna Sosa, Stuttgart (Defender, 11.9M, 1%)
As his 17-point haul on Matchday 7 showed, Sosa's ceiling is high, but the Croatian left-back has been unable to find his top form on a consistent basis so far this season. Stuttgart have generally struggled, and Pellegrino Matarazzo paid the price for his team's poor form as he was sacked as head coach after Sunday's 0-1 defeat against Union Berlin. Aiming to make a fresh start and get their first win of the season, 'Die Schwaben' will now face Bochum at home in a relegation six-pointer, which could see Sosa play a key role.

Angelino, Hoffenheim (Defender, 12.4M, 7%)
It was a disappointing Matchday 9 for Hoffenheim and Angelino, with 'Die Kraichgauer' falling to a 1-2 defeat at home to Werder Bremen and the Spaniard picking up just a single point. But with the potential he has, Angelino is a player worth considering again this week if he's starting against crisis-hit Schalke 04 on Friday.

Linton Maina, FC Köln (Midfielder, 4M, 1%)
As previously mentioned in this article, Augsburg will be without their preferred centre-back duo against Köln this Sunday. This makes investing in Köln assets extra appealing, and Maina is one of their most intriguing options, having started up front in the Billy Goats' last two league games and costing just 4 million.

Chris Führich, Stuttgart (Midfielder, 7.1M, 1%)
Führich is being tipped to come back into the starting line-up in a more attacking role following the dismissal of Pellegrino Matarazzo as Stuttgart coach. With two goals to his name already this season, the former Dortmund and Paderborn attacker could be a good differential, with 'Die Schwaben' taking on fellow relegation candidates Bochum at Mercedes Benz Arena.

Lars Stindl, Gladbach (Midfielder, 10.3M, 4%)
After getting on the scoresheet in last week's commanding 5-2 win over FC Köln, the Gladbach captain has had a hand in a goal in three consecutive games. Costing 10.3 million, Stindl's price is quite low considering his potential.

Christoph Baumgartner, Hoffenheim (Midfielder, 12.4M, 11%)
Hoffenheim suffered a 1-2 defeat against Werder last week, but Baumgartner still managed to amass nine points, and he could have ended up with even more points if his first-half strike had gone in instead of hitting the post.

Steffen Tigges, FC Köln (Striker, 3.7M, 0%)
Tigges costs just 3.7 million, is owned by 0 percent and should have a good chance of scoring against a suspension-hit Augsburg defence.

Munas Dabbur, Hoffenheim (Striker, 6.2M, 0%)
After starting the season as a substitute, Dabbur has emerged as a starter in recent weeks, and he's likely to to be in the starting line-up once more against crisis-hit Schalke 04 on Friday after getting on the scoresheet in last week's 1-2 defeat to Werder Bremen.

Timo Werner, RB Leipzig (Striker, 14.8M, 8%)
Werner is beginning to look like his former self, having scored three goals and provided an assist in his last four games for Leipzig in all competitions. Coming off a goal and an assist in the Champions League against Celtic, the Germany international should have a good chance of doing well against Hertha BSC.
