Modeste and Wolf out for Dortmund against Union

As is always the case prior to Dortmund's away games, local newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten has kept close tabs on which BVB players made the trip.
According to Nordrhein-Westfalen's Ruhr Nachrichten, Anthony Modeste did not make the trip with his team to Berlin ahead of tomorrow's showdown against 1. FC Union Berlin. The French striker - supplier of a critical assist and dramatic game-tying goal last weekend against Bayern - has been struggling with a gastrointestinal infection this past week and had been unable to train.

Modeste was among a quartet of players that BVB trainer Edin Terzic listed as having questionable availability at his Friday presser. The local NRW newspaper reported that the other three footballers, Raphaël Gurreiro, Thomas Meunier, and squad captain Marco Reus, did travel with the team.

The "RN" did nevertheless note that allrounder Marius Wolf did not board the plane with the rest of the team. It thus looks to be the case that Terzic will either use Meunier at right back or (as he did last week) deploy Niklas Süle opposite Guerreiro.
