De Ligt feels he is finding his feet at Bayern
Step by step, Matthijs de Ligt is adapting to his new life in Germany.
After a "difficult" start to life at Bayern München, Matthijs de Ligt feels he's finding his feet at the Bavarian club.
"It was quite difficult to begin with, but it's normal to take some time to settle in," said de Ligt, who joined Bayern from Juventus in the summer, at a press conference last night.
"It has improved. Currently, I'm in good shape and I'm playing every game. That is something that is important for me. I'm feeling good."
Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann is pleased with de Ligt's contribution so far.
"He knows exactly what he's good at and what he's not so good at," noted the Bayern coach.
"He is doing really well for us. He makes almost no mistakes and is very aware of his role as a centre-back. He has been a good addition to the squad."
