Official: Eintracht sign Philipp Max

Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed the signing of Philipp Max on a loan deal from PSV.

Former Augsburg left-back Philipp Max is officially back in the Bundeliga.

The 29-year-old has been unveiled as an Eintracht Frankfurt player on loan with an option to buy.

"With Philipp Max, we are gaining an experienced defender who will make us even more variable and flexible for the numerous demanding tasks in the second half of the season," said Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche.

"With his skills and personality, he fits perfectly into our team, and we are glad to have the option of binding him for the longer term."

Max has 147 Bundesliga games, 15 goals and 26 assists under his belt.
